Windows Live Writer 2008

For all the bad karma Microsoft may have created in the past, the release of Windows Live Writer 2008 spreads positives vibes around the world... download and try it yourself!

The good news in this release is that you no longer need to use a dictionary hack and it has support for the Atom Publishing Protocol. Unfortunately I haven't actually been able to get the Atom Publishing Protocol working in the Lotus Greenhouse, so hopefully someone might be able to give me a hint the right direction?

Your a gluten for punishment aren't you. Microsoft software using Google protocols talking to IBM infrastructure. You'll be wanting Windows Live Wirter on your Blackberry next.

That is because Lotus Greenhouse is using an older version of the Atompub spec. The Connections 1.0 Atompub impl was based on Draft -15 of the spec. Connections 2.0 will be up to date with the final RFC.

  3. We try.

Windows Live Writer rocks. You should also try Windows Live Photo Gallery. Even supports Yahoo! Flickr.

Free software from Microsoft, using non-MS protocols, on non-MS servers.

    Strange world, eh?
